Product Introduction
Chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) is a material obtained by replacing hydrogen atoms in high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with chlorine atoms. It is a white powder that is non-toxic and odorless. Its molecular formula is [CH₂-CHCl-CH₂-CH₂]. It is a saturated thermoplastic elastomer with an irregular structure. Because the chlorination process does not completely replace all hydrogen atoms, and the substitution positions are randomly distributed, the resulting irregular structure gives CPE135A unique physical and chemical properties, such as excellent elasticity, compatibility, and processability. The chlorine content in CPE135A is 35±2%, which ensures it has both good elasticity and appropriate compatibility, making it effective as an impact modifier for polymers such as PVC.
