Introduction:
Zinc stearate, white powder, relative density 1.095 g/cc, zinc oxide content 10%-11%. It has good resistance to vulcanization pollution, but the stability is relatively poor, color changes after heating when used alone.
It can be used together with calcium soap, lead soap, barium soap, cadmium soap and other heat stabilizers. It has good lubrication effect and can be used with calcium stabilizers to make the calcium-zinc compound stabilizer, which is viewed as the substitution for lead based stabilizer for no toxicity.
Because zinc salt has a strong ability to inhibit the discoloration of PVC, so the initial color of the final product is good. But in long term perspective, the product will be severely discolored.
