Introduction:

Calcium stearate, white powder, manufactured by double decomposition method, relative density of 1.08, 6.5-7.0% calcium oxide content, fatty acid content of 93-94%, melting point 148-155℃, non-toxic, good compatibility, fluidity, and lubrication effect. When used together with alkaline lead salts and lead soap, gelation speed will be increased.

Low weather resistance and transparency, precipitation phenomenon will occur when adding too many dosage, long-time heating will cause color changes, can be used in food-contact appliance, used together with cadmium soap and epoxide will increase the transparency of the finished products.

Applications:

1. Used as PVC heat stabilizer, can be used in non-toxic food packaging materials, medical appliance, and such soft products.
2. It can also be used as a lubricant for phenolic, amino and other thermosetting plastics and polyester reinforced plastics, as a waterproofing agent for textiles and paint smoothing agent, etc.
3. As a halogen absorbent in polyethylene and polypropylene, it can eliminate the effect of the residual catalyst in the resin on the color of the resin.
